Who is responsible for your data
This website is run by Murad Raza, a freelance web developer based in Karachi, Pakistan. For anything about your personal data, email dev@muradraza.com.
What I collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form or the package builder on the pricing page, I receive your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject, message and the options you selected.
- Analytics. Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics record how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies for this; Vercel Analytics does not.
- Server logs. The hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and user agent, for security and reliability.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if we work together, deliver the project.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Legal basis (UK and EU visitors)
Replying to an enquiry is based on taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Analytics and security logging are based on legitimate interests in running and improving the site. You can block analytics cookies in your browser at any time.
Who processes it for me
- Supabase stores enquiries submitted through the site.
- Resend delivers the email notification of each enquiry to my inbox.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google (Google Analytics) and Vercel (Vercel Analytics) provide usage statistics.
Third-party links
Buttons for WhatsApp, Calendly, Upwork, LinkedIn and other profiles take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply. Nothing is shared with them unless you choose to contact me there.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of project discussions with clients. You can ask for yours to be deleted at any time and I will remove it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is used. Email dev@muradraza.com and I will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with the response, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
No selling, no marketing lists
Your details are never sold, and I don't add enquiries to marketing mailing lists.
